Roles and Responsibilities :
A candidate will be responsible for working on IT audits and related services, such as control testing for IT General Controls (ITGC), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and designing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). A candidate will be responsible for conducting reviews of audit processes, including IT audits, ITGC, ISO 27001, and SOX audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Additionally, A candidate needs supporting change management, incident management, and user access control. A candidate helps assess and monitor changes in IT systems to ensure proper documentation, approval, and implementation. A candidate will also review and analyze incidents to identify risks and recommend improvements in IT security and operational processes.
User access control is another important responsibility, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to critical systems and data. A candidate will assists in reviewing and implementing security policies to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
A candidate must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a good understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance. A candidate will work closely with various teams to improve IT controls, enhance security, and maintain regulatory compliance within the organization.
Technical Skills :
A candidate will work as an independent contributor in an audit team, managing projects related to clients. A candidate will be responsible for understanding and following the required procedures for executing and documenting various audit processes.
One of the key areas of focus is IT General Controls (ITGC) audits, where a candidate will assesses and verifies IT controls to ensure compliance with security and operational standards. A candidate will also work on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits, reviewing financial and IT controls to confirm adherence to regulatory requirements.
Another important aspect of a candidate is change management. A candidate will evaluate and ensure that changes to IT systems are properly documented, approved, and implemented in a controlled manner to minimize risks.
This position needs a strong understanding of audit processes, IT security, and compliance standards. Qualification:

Certifications in IT audits, such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and ISO 27001 would be an added advantage. These certifications demonstrate a strong understanding of IT security, risk management, and compliance, which are needed for audit-related roles.
A background in IT audits, compliance, and governance will help the candidate effectively assess and improve IT controls within an organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of IT auditing are also important for success in this role.
Selection Process:
The selection process contains of three main stages. It starts with two rounds of technical interviews, where a candidate’s knowledge of IT audits, ITGC, SOX compliance, and related technical skills are assessed. These interviews evaluate the candidate’s understanding of audit procedures, risk management, and IT governance.
After clearing the technical rounds, A candidate will proceed to an interview with the business head.
