Job Description:
Airbus is seeking passionate and highly motivated Data Scientist Interns to join our dynamic research team in Bangalore. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of AI and language modeling. As a Research Engineer Intern, you will contribute to advancing the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) using techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and model fine-tuning. If you're excited about scalable AI systems and breakthrough technologies, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other advanced methods to enhance LLM capabilities.
Assist in data preparation and pipeline optimization for fine-tuning and quantization.
Train and evaluate small transformer models with a focus on performance and efficiency.
Support the development of an internal orchestration framework for LLMs.
Work with senior engineers to integrate LLM software components into system architecture.
Deploy and monitor AI models in production.
Document workflows and findings for reproducibility and internal knowledge sharing.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: Freshers welcome.
Strong proficiency in Python and data preprocessing.
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and VectorDB.
Solid understanding of transformer architecture, embeddings, and tokenization.
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Understanding of LLMs, RAG methodologies, and fine-tuning techniques.
Knowledge of Git and software development best practices.
